This article explains the advanced features of the Ace68/68 Air magnetic switch keyboard, including trigger settings, Rapid Trigger, dead zone adjustment, key remapping, macro recording, advanced key functions, performance settings, and firmware options.
Trigger Settings
Trigger settings allow you to customize how deeply each key must be pressed before it activates. You can configure trigger travel, Rapid Trigger, and dead zone parameters in M HUB.
Setup Steps
- Select a configuration: Only custom configurations can be modified. When you select an official preset configuration such as Beginner, FPS, or Extreme, the system will apply the preset parameters first. You can then create or modify a custom configuration based on your needs.
- Select keys: Parameters can be adjusted globally for all keys or individually for specific keys.
Modify parameters: You can customize trigger travel, Rapid Trigger, and dead zone settings. Hover over each parameter area in the driver to view more information.

Key Remapping Settings
Modify Key Values
In the key remapping settings page, select the key value you want to modify and drag it directly onto the target key.
You can click Restore All Defaults to restore all key values to their default settings.
Default Key Layer: Windows Mode
The default key layer contains the standard keyboard functions used in Windows mode. Pressing a key triggers its default function without requiring any additional key combination.
For example, if you drag Q onto Z, pressing Z will trigger the function of Q. The original Z function will be replaced.
Fn1 Layer: Windows Shortcut Layer
The Fn1 layer is used for shortcut functions in Windows mode. Press and hold Fn together with another key to trigger lighting controls, multimedia controls, or special shortcuts.
For example, pressing Fn + N or Fn + M can be used for volume adjustment if configured.
Mac Layer: macOS Mode
When the keyboard is switched to macOS mode, the key bindings are displayed based on the Mac layer. This layer contains the basic key functions for macOS.
Fn3 Layer: macOS Shortcut Layer
The Fn3 layer is used for shortcut functions in macOS mode. You need to remap a key to Fn3 first. Then press and hold Fn3 together with another key to trigger the assigned function.
Example: In the default key layer, drag Fn2/Fn3 to the W key. Pressing W will now activate the Fn2/Fn3 layer instead of the original W function. In the Fn2/Fn3 layer, drag Z to the Q key. Pressing W + Q will now trigger Z.
Macro Recording
M HUB provides 16 preset macro recording slots on the right side of the key remapping settings page.
How to Record and Assign a Macro
- Go to the key remapping settings page.
- Click the edit button next to a macro slot.
- Enter the macro recording interface.
- Edit the macro command name if needed.
- Adjust the loop type if needed.
- Record the macro command.
- Save the macro.
- Drag the saved macro command to the key you want to assign it to.
Once assigned, pressing the selected key will trigger the macro.
Advanced Key Functions
RS Advanced Key Function
RS activates the key that is pressed deeper when two selected keys are bound together.
For example, if A and D are bound together and A is pressed deeper than D, then A will be activated while D will not. If both keys are fully pressed, both keys can be activated.
SOCD Advanced Key Function
SOCD allows two selected keys to be bound together. Depending on the selected trigger rule, one key can be prioritized, or both keys can cancel each other out when pressed at the same time.
Dynamic Key Stroke / DKS
DKS allows a single key to trigger up to four different functions based on how deeply the key is pressed.
By setting different actuation ranges, you can decide which function is triggered at different key travel depths.
MT Advanced Key Function
MT allows one key to trigger two different functions based on how the key is pressed or tapped.
TGL Function
TGL allows continuous triggering after a key is pressed once. Press the key again to stop continuous triggering. This removes the need to hold the key down manually for continuous input.
A long press will trigger the assigned function normally.
Performance Settings
Polling Rate
Changing the polling rate can reduce the keyboard’s theoretical latency. The Ace 68/68air allows setting 1K, 2K, 4K, and 8K polling rates
Berserk Mode
When enabled, this mode sets the rapid actuation (RT) precision to a minimum of 0.005mm/0.001mm (0.001mm is only supported on the Ultra Esports version). If the correct switch type is selected and an extreme parameter beyond the switch's reach is set, there is a risk of missed keystrokes.
Adaptive Dynamic Calibration
We recommend keeping Adaptive Dynamic Calibration enabled. When enabled, each key press helps automatically calibrate the keyboard. The more keys are pressed, the more accurate the calibration becomes.
If the switch type has not been changed, manual calibration is usually not required.
Win Key Lock
Win Key Lock prevents accidental presses of the Windows key during gaming or typing. You can also press Fn + Win to quickly lock the Windows key.
This feature does not apply to macOS.
Stability Mode
Stability Mode enables an optimization algorithm designed to improve keyboard stability when using extremely sensitive trigger parameters.
Other Settings
- Check and update the keyboard firmware version.
- Use one-click factory reset to restore all keyboard settings.
