What are onboard profiles?
Onboard profiles allow you to save your personalized mouse settings directly to the mouse through M HUB.
These settings may include:
- Macros
- Button mapping
- DPI settings
- Other supported mouse parameters
Once saved to an onboard profile, the settings are stored on the mouse itself.
Core benefit:
After saving settings to onboard profiles, you can use the mouse on another computer without installing M HUB again. The mouse can work with your saved settings as soon as it is connected.
Firmware and model support
To use multiple onboard profiles, please update your mouse firmware to the latest version.
Multiple onboard profiles are currently supported on:
- All A7 Series mice
Other mouse models are not supported at this time.
Onboard profiles vs custom profiles
Onboard profiles
Onboard profiles are stored directly on the mouse. They remain available even if you change computers or browsers.
Note:
When switching to Bluetooth mode under the current onboard profile, the profile settings will also be saved.
Custom profiles
Custom profiles are used only as preset configurations in the current browser or computer. They are not automatically synced to other browsers or computers.
To use a custom profile on your mouse, move it to Onboard Profiles. Once moved, the profile will be loaded onto the mouse.
