Available features may vary depending on the A5 V3 model, connection mode, firmware version, and MCHOSE HUB version.
MCHOSE HUB Cannot Detect the Mouse
If the mouse works normally but MCHOSE HUB cannot detect it:
- Connect the mouse directly to the computer in USB Wired Mode.
- Confirm that the cable supports both charging and data transmission.
- Try another computer USB port.
- Close and reopen MCHOSE HUB.
- Disconnect and reconnect the mouse.
- Restart the computer if the issue continues.
- Install the latest official version of MCHOSE HUB.
Important: BT Mode supports basic mouse operation but does not support all advanced MCHOSE HUB features.
The Mouse Charges but MCHOSE HUB Cannot Detect It
Some USB-C cables support charging only and cannot transfer data. If the mouse charges but is not detected by the computer or MCHOSE HUB:
- Use the original USB cable when possible.
- Try another USB cable that supports data transmission.
- Connect the cable directly to a computer USB port.
- Avoid unstable USB hubs, adapters, or damaged cables.
MCHOSE HUB Installation Fails
If MCHOSE HUB cannot be installed:
- Confirm that your operating system meets the current software requirements.
- Download the latest installer from the official MCHOSE website.
- Remove older or duplicate MCHOSE HUB installations if necessary.
- Run the installer with administrator permission when requested by the operating system.
- Restart the computer and try the installation again.
Note: Only download MCHOSE HUB from an official MCHOSE website or support page.
Settings Are Unavailable or Cannot Be Applied
If a setting is missing or cannot be applied:

The Firmware Update Fails
If the update does not complete:
- Wait for MCHOSE HUB to confirm that the update has failed or timed out.
- Close and reopen MCHOSE HUB.
- Reconnect the mouse in USB Wired Mode.
- Try another computer USB port.
- Run the firmware update again.
Important: Do not repeatedly disconnect the mouse while an update is still in progress. Interrupting a firmware update may prevent the device from operating normally.
The Mouse Does Not Work After an Update
If the mouse stops responding after a firmware update:
- Disconnect the mouse and wait a few seconds.
- Reconnect it in USB Wired Mode.
- Restart MCHOSE HUB.
- Restart the computer.
- Check whether MCHOSE HUB offers a firmware recovery or update option.
If the device still cannot be detected, contact MCHOSE Customer Support. Do not install unofficial firmware or firmware intended for another model.
3. USB Wired Connection Issues
The Mouse Is Not Detected in USB Wired Mode
- Make sure the USB-C connector is fully inserted into the mouse.
- Reconnect the cable and wait a few seconds for the operating system to detect the device.
- Try another computer USB port.
- Use a USB cable that supports both charging and data transmission.
- Test the mouse on another compatible computer.
USB Wired Mode Disconnects Repeatedly
If the mouse disconnects while being used in USB Wired Mode:
- Check whether either end of the cable is loose.
- Inspect the cable and USB-C port for visible damage.
- Try another compatible data cable.
- Try another computer USB port.
- Connect the mouse directly to the computer instead of using a USB hub.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
If the problem occurs with multiple cables, USB ports, and computers, the mouse cable connector or USB-C port may require inspection.
4. 2.4GHz Receiver Pairing Issues
The Mouse Cannot Connect to the 2.4GHz Receiver
Before attempting to pair the receiver again:
- Confirm that the receiver is connected to the computer.
- Switch the mouse to 2.4GHz Wireless Mode.
- Make sure the mouse has sufficient battery power.
- Reconnect the receiver to another USB port.
- Turn the mouse off and back on.
The Receiver Needs to Be Paired Again
If the mouse and receiver no longer recognize each other, use the official A5 V3 receiver-pairing procedure for your specific model.
Important: Do not use pairing instructions or receivers intended for another MCHOSE mouse model. Pairing methods may vary between A5 V3 versions.
If pairing continues to fail, prepare the product model, receiver information, and a video showing the issue before contacting MCHOSE Customer Support.
5. Sensor and Tracking Issues
The Buttons Work but the Cursor Does Not Move
- Check whether dust or debris is blocking the sensor opening.
- Gently clean the sensor area with a soft, dry cloth or cotton swab.
- Test the mouse on a compatible mouse pad.
- Avoid transparent glass, mirrors, and highly reflective surfaces.
- Reconnect the mouse and test another connection mode.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
Important: Do not apply liquid directly to the sensor or scratch the sensor lens.
The Cursor Jumps, Shakes, or Moves Unexpectedly
- Clean the sensor area.
- Test another clean mouse pad or surface.
- Check whether the mouse feet are damaged, worn, or uneven.
- Restore recently changed sensor settings to their default values.
- Reduce the polling rate temporarily and test again.
- Test the mouse in USB Wired Mode.
Tracking Stops When the Mouse Is Lifted and Repositioned
Lift-off Distance (LOD) controls the height at which the sensor stops tracking when the mouse is lifted.
- Open MCHOSE HUB and check the current LOD setting.
- Test another available LOD setting.
- Use a clean cloth or hard mouse pad designed for optical sensors.
- Restore the performance settings to their defaults if the issue began after customization.
Available LOD settings may vary depending on the A5 V3 model and firmware version.
Tracking Feels Different After Changing Settings
The following settings may change how cursor movement feels:
- DPI
- Polling rate
- Motion Sync
- Lift-off Distance (LOD)
- Angle Snapping
Restore one setting at a time and test the mouse after each change. This can help identify which setting is affecting tracking behavior.
6. Mouse Button Issues
A Mouse Button Does Not Respond
- Reconnect the mouse.
- Check the button assignment in MCHOSE HUB.
- Restore the button to its default function.
- Confirm that the correct profile is active.
- Test the button in another application.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
If the button works after its default assignment is restored, the issue was likely caused by the previous software configuration.
The Side Buttons Do Not Work
- Confirm that the side buttons have not been disabled or reassigned.
- Check the active profile in MCHOSE HUB.
- Apply and save the button assignments again.
- Restore the default button configuration and retest.
Note: Some games or applications may not recognize every assigned command. Test the button with a standard keyboard shortcut or mouse function to determine whether the issue is application-specific.
A Button Registers Multiple Clicks
If a single press sometimes registers as multiple clicks:
- Test the button in more than one application.
- Restore the default button settings.
- Check for an available firmware update.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
If the problem remains after testing the default settings on another computer, contact MCHOSE Customer Support for hardware assistance.
