1. Design and Appearance
Why is there a gap between the mouse buttons?
A small clearance between moving buttons may be required to prevent friction and allow normal button movement.
If the gap is visibly uneven, causes rubbing, or affects normal clicking, contact MCHOSE Customer Support and provide clear photos.
Is slight button movement normal?
A small amount of lateral movement may occur because the buttons are separate moving components. If the movement is excessive, produces unintended clicks, or affects normal use, contact MCHOSE Customer Support.
Why do the two main buttons sound different?
Minor differences in sound or feel may result from component and assembly tolerances. If one button feels loose, sticks, or does not register consistently, further troubleshooting may be required.
Why does the scroll wheel make a sound?
The scroll wheel uses a mechanical encoder that produces tactile feedback during normal scrolling. Skipping, reverse scrolling, grinding, or unusually loud noise may indicate debris or a hardware issue.
Is internal rattling normal?
Minor movement from internal components may sometimes be audible in lightweight mice. If the sound is pronounced or accompanied by loose buttons, connection problems, or abnormal operation, contact support.
What should I do if the new mouse has an odor?
Ventilate the product in a clean, dry area before use. If the odor persists, becomes stronger, or causes discomfort, stop using the mouse and contact MCHOSE Customer Support.
Is the G3V2 water-resistant?
The G3V2 does not have a stated water-resistance rating. Keep it away from liquids and do not immerse or wash the mouse.
If liquid is spilled on the mouse, disconnect it, turn it off, and allow it to dry completely before further inspection. Do not continue charging or using a wet device.
2. Product Questions
What connection modes does the G3V2 support?
The G3V2 supports USB Wired, 2.4GHz Wireless, and BT modes.
Can the mouse remain connected to multiple devices?
The mouse can be manually switched between connection modes for use with different devices. Only one connection mode can be active at a time.
Does the G3V2 support onboard settings?
Supported settings can be saved after they are successfully applied in MCHOSE HUB. Some software-specific features may still require MCHOSE HUB.
Can I adjust button debounce?
If the Button Debounce option is available for your G3V2 version, it can be adjusted through MCHOSE HUB.
A shorter debounce time may make unintended multiple-click registration more likely. Begin with the default setting and adjust gradually if necessary.
Can I use drag clicking?
Drag-click results depend on the switch, surface, grip, settings, and individual technique. MCHOSE does not guarantee a specific click rate or compatibility with drag-click techniques.
3. Performance Questions
What is the difference between 2.4GHz Wireless and BT?
| Feature | 2.4GHz Wireless | BT |
|---|---|---|
| Recommended Use | Gaming | Everyday work and portable devices |
| Receiver | Required | Not required on compatible devices |
| MCHOSE HUB | Supported features available | Advanced configuration unavailable |
| Responsiveness | Designed for lower-latency gaming use | Designed for convenient everyday use |
What polling rate should I use?
1000Hz is a suitable starting point for most gaming scenarios. Higher polling rates may reduce reporting intervals on supported hardware but can increase battery consumption and system load.
Why does the game lose FPS at a high polling rate?
Very high polling rates increase the amount of mouse data processed by the computer. If you experience frame-rate drops or stuttering:
- Reduce the polling rate.
- Close unnecessary background applications.
- Connect the receiver directly to the computer.
- Update the system chipset and USB drivers when appropriate.
Why does BT Mode feel less responsive?
BT Mode uses a lower reporting rate than the gaming-oriented USB Wired and 2.4GHz Wireless modes. It is intended for convenient everyday use rather than high-performance gaming.
4. Basic Troubleshooting
The cursor does not move
- Check the power and battery level.
- Reconnect the cable or receiver.
- Clean the sensor area with a soft, dry cloth.
- Test another mouse pad or surface.
- Test another connection mode.
The cursor jumps or freezes
- Clean the sensor area.
- Avoid transparent glass and highly reflective surfaces.
- Move the receiver closer to the mouse.
- Reduce the polling rate temporarily.
- Test the mouse in USB Wired Mode.
A button feels delayed
- Check the button assignment in MCHOSE HUB.
- Restore the default button setting.
- Check the debounce setting when available.
- Test the button in another application.
MCHOSE HUB feels slow while moving the mouse
Reduce the polling rate and close unnecessary background applications. A very high polling rate may increase CPU usage on some systems.
5. Cleaning and Care
- Turn off the mouse before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
- Keep the sensor and mouse feet free from dust.
- Do not apply liquid directly to the mouse.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, and excessive moisture.
- Do not disassemble the mouse.
