- Connect the keyboard directly to a computer USB port instead of using a USB hub or docking station.
- Turn off and disconnect the keyboard. Remove the affected keycap and check whether the switch moves normally.
- If a compatible spare switch is included, replace the affected switch, reconnect the keyboard, and calibrate the key again in M HUB.
Important: Make sure the replacement switch is compatible with the Ace 60. Align the switch correctly and do not force it into the socket.
If the key remains unresponsive after calibration and switch replacement, contact MCHOSE Support.
2. What Should I Do If a Key Double-Inputs, Repeats, or Triggers Automatically?
Repeated or unintended input may be related to highly sensitive trigger settings, magnetic interference, calibration, switch installation, firmware, or connection stability.
- Open M HUB and check for a supported firmware update.
- Open Trigger Settings and calibrate the affected key.
- Enable Keystroke Optimization or the corresponding stability option if available for your model and M HUB version.
- Increase an extremely low Actuation Point or Rapid Trigger distance and test again.
- Move metal or magnetic objects away from the keyboard.
- Do not place the Ace 60 directly on top of a laptop keyboard or another device containing magnets.
- Disconnect and reconnect the keyboard after removing possible interference.
- Turn off and disconnect the keyboard, then inspect the affected switch and replace it with a compatible spare switch if necessary.
- Calibrate the key again after replacing the switch.
3. What Should I Do If a Key Does Not Spring Back After Being Pressed?
- Turn off and disconnect the keyboard.
- Remove the affected keycap.
- Check for dust, debris, or another obstruction around the switch.
- Remove and reinstall the switch, making sure it is correctly aligned.
- Install a compatible spare switch and test again if necessary.
For larger keys, check whether the keycap or stabilizer is visibly obstructed or incorrectly positioned.
Important: Do not apply lubricant unless you are familiar with keyboard stabilizer maintenance. Incorrect lubricant or excessive application may affect key movement or damage surrounding components.
If a stabilized key remains stuck or does not return normally, contact MCHOSE Support.
4. How Do I Calibrate the Keys?
The Ace 60 supports Adaptive Dynamic Calibration. When enabled, the keyboard adjusts supported calibration data during normal key presses.
Manual calibration may be required after changing switches or when a key’s travel is detected incorrectly.
Manual Calibration Steps
- Open M HUB.
- Go to Trigger Settings.
- Select the key you want to calibrate.
- Start the calibration process.
- Press the key vertically and steadily through its full travel until calibration is complete.
Calibration Color Indicators
| Color | Status |
|---|---|
| Blue | Calibration has been completed successfully. |
| Yellow | The key was detected, but calibration is not complete. Continue the calibration process. |
| Gray | The key has not yet been detected during calibration. |
Note: More than one full key press may be required. Follow the on-screen status in M HUB until the key is shown as successfully calibrated.
5. What Should I Do If the Win and Alt Keys Are Swapped?
If the Win and Alt keys are swapped or do not work as expected, the keyboard may be using the wrong operating system mode.
- Press Fn + O to switch to Windows mode.
- Press Fn + P to switch to macOS mode.
If the key functions remain incorrect, check the active key mapping and profile in M HUB.
6. What Should I Do If the Backlight on Some Keys Is Not Working?
- Press Fn + \ to cycle through lighting modes and check whether the affected LED works in another mode.
- Press Fn + ] to increase the keyboard backlight brightness.
- Press and hold Fn + Esc for five seconds to restore default settings, then test the lighting again.
- Reconnect the keyboard.
- Check for a supported firmware update.
- Turn off and disconnect the keyboard, remove the affected keycap, and check whether the switch is fully seated and correctly aligned.
If the LED remains off, flickers, or displays an abnormal color across multiple lighting modes, contact MCHOSE Support.
7. How Do I Fix Keyboard Disconnections During Use?
- Check whether the USB cable is securely connected at both ends.
- Disconnect and reconnect the cable.
- Try another compatible USB data cable.
- Try another USB port on the computer.
- Connect the keyboard directly to the computer instead of using a USB hub or docking station.
- Check for a supported firmware update.
- Test the keyboard on another computer if possible.
If the keyboard disconnects with multiple cables, USB ports, and computers, the USB-C port or another hardware component may require inspection.
8. What Should I Do If M HUB Shows a White Screen, Keeps Loading, or Disconnects?
- Make sure the keyboard is securely connected.
- Try another USB port or compatible data cable.
- Connect the keyboard directly to the computer.
- Close and reopen M HUB.
- Restart the computer.
- Check whether a newer supported M HUB version is available.
If M HUB displays an official firmware recovery prompt, follow the on-screen instructions and do not disconnect the keyboard until the process is complete.
Note: The keyboard may restart and briefly disconnect when changing certain performance settings or updating firmware. Wait for it to reconnect before continuing.
