What connection modes does the A7 V2 support?
The A7 V2 supports USB Wired, 2.4GHz Wireless, and BT modes.
Does the A7 V2 support onboard memory?
Supported settings can be saved to the mouse after they are successfully applied in MCHOSE HUB. Some software-specific features may still require MCHOSE HUB.
Do all A7 V2 models have the same specifications?
No. Sensor, battery capacity, weight, maximum DPI, maximum polling rate, performance modes, and included accessories may vary by model.

Can I use the mouse with multiple devices?
You can manually switch between connection modes to use the mouse with different devices. Only one connection mode can be active at a time.
Why is the wireless connection unstable?
- Check the battery level.
- Move the receiver closer to the mouse.
- Reconnect the receiver to another USB port.
- Keep the receiver away from strong wireless interference.
- Reduce the polling rate temporarily and test again.
3. Battery and Charging
Can I use the mouse while charging?
Yes. Connect the mouse through USB Wired Mode to continue using it while it charges.
Why does battery life vary?
Battery life depends on the model, polling rate, performance mode, lighting, sleep settings, connection mode, and individual usage conditions.
How can I extend battery life?
- Use a lower polling rate when maximum responsiveness is not required.
- Use a balanced performance mode for everyday tasks.
- Enable an appropriate sleep timeout.
- Turn off the mouse during extended periods of non-use.
What should I do if the mouse does not charge?
- Reconnect the USB-C cable.
- Try another computer USB port.
- Try another compatible USB-C cable.

4. Gaming and Performance
What DPI should I use?
There is no single best DPI. Many players use 400–1600 DPI for FPS games, but the ideal setting depends on display resolution, in-game sensitivity, and personal preference.
What polling rate should I use?
1000Hz is suitable for most gaming scenarios. Higher polling rates may provide shorter reporting intervals on supported models and systems, but they also increase system load and battery consumption.
Why does a high polling rate cause stuttering?
Very high polling rates may place additional load on the CPU and USB system. Reduce the polling rate, close unnecessary background applications, and test another USB port.
Should I enable Motion Sync?
Enable Motion Sync if you prefer more consistently timed movement data. Disable it if you prefer to minimize additional sensor processing. Test both settings and use the one that feels better for your system and gameplay.
What is LOD?
Lift-Off Distance determines how high the mouse can be lifted before the sensor stops tracking. A lower LOD may reduce unintended cursor movement when repositioning the mouse, but surface compatibility can vary.
What is Sensor FPS?
Sensor FPS describes how frequently the optical sensor captures and analyzes surface information. It is different from polling rate, which describes how frequently mouse data is reported to the computer.
A higher Sensor FPS does not automatically guarantee better gaming performance. Results also depend on the sensor, firmware, surface, polling rate, system, and game.
5. Compatibility
Which operating systems are supported?
The A7 V2 supports standard mouse operation on compatible systems. MCHOSE HUB configuration features are currently intended for supported Windows systems.
On macOS and other systems without MCHOSE HUB support, the A7 V2 may operate as a standard HID mouse, but advanced configuration features may be unavailable.
Does BT Mode support MCHOSE HUB?
BT Mode supports basic mouse operation but does not support all advanced MCHOSE HUB features. Use USB Wired or supported 2.4GHz Wireless Mode for configuration.
6. Maintenance
- Turn off the mouse before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
- Keep the sensor and mouse feet free from dust.
- Do not apply liquids directly to the mouse.
- Avoid rough or dirty surfaces that may wear the mouse feet.
