1. MCHOSE HUB Issues
MCHOSE HUB Cannot Detect the K7
- Connect the mouse in USB Wired Mode.
- Confirm that the cable supports both charging and data transmission.
- Try another computer USB port.
- Restart MCHOSE HUB.
- Install the latest official MCHOSE HUB version.
- Restart the computer if the issue continues.
Note: BT Mode does not support MCHOSE HUB communication.
The Web Driver Cannot Detect the Mouse
- Use a supported Chromium-based browser.
- Allow HID device access when prompted.
- Select the correct K7 device.
- Reconnect the mouse in USB Wired or 2.4GHz Wireless Mode.
Settings Are Not Saved
- Confirm that the correct K7 device and profile are selected.
- Apply and save the settings again.
- Reconnect the mouse.
- Restart MCHOSE HUB.
- Restore the affected setting to its default value and retest.
2. Firmware Update Issues
Before Updating
- Use the latest official MCHOSE HUB version.
- Connect the mouse in USB Wired Mode.
- Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged.
- Do not disconnect the mouse during the update.
- Do not install firmware intended for another K7 model.
The Update Fails or Remains at 0%
- Wait for MCHOSE HUB to confirm that the update has stopped.
- Restart MCHOSE HUB.
- Reconnect the mouse in USB Wired Mode.
- Try another computer USB port.
- Run the update again.
The Mouse Does Not Work After an Update
- Reconnect the mouse in USB Wired Mode.
- Restart MCHOSE HUB and the computer.
- Check whether the update tool provides a recovery option.
- Confirm that the firmware matches the exact K7 model.
If the mouse remains unavailable, contact MCHOSE Customer Support and provide the firmware version and a screenshot of the error.
3. Connection Issues
USB Device Not Recognized
- Reconnect the cable or receiver.
- Try another USB port.
- Use a cable that supports data transmission.
- Avoid unstable USB hubs during troubleshooting.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
The 2.4GHz Receiver Cannot Connect
- Switch the mouse to 2.4GHz Wireless Mode.
- Make sure the mouse is sufficiently charged.
- Reconnect the receiver directly to the computer.
- Restart the mouse.
- Use the official pairing procedure for the exact K7 model if necessary.
Do not use a receiver, firmware file, or pairing tool intended for another mouse model.
BT Pairing Fails
- Remove the existing K7 pairing record from the device.
- Turn BT off and back on.
- Activate pairing mode on the mouse.
- Search for the K7 again.
- Test pairing with another compatible device.
The Wireless Connection Stutters
- Move the receiver closer to the mouse.
- Keep it away from strong wireless interference.
- Recharge the mouse.
- Reduce the polling rate temporarily.
- Test another USB port.
4. Button Issues
A Button Does Not Respond
- Check the button assignment in MCHOSE HUB.
- Restore the default button function.
- Test the button in another application.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
A Single Press Registers Multiple Clicks
- Restore the default button assignment.
- Restore the default debounce value.
- Test the button in multiple applications.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
If the problem occurs under default settings on multiple computers, the switch may require inspection.
A Held Button Releases Unexpectedly
- Test the button in another application.
- Restore its default assignment.
- Reconnect the mouse.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
5. Scroll Wheel Issues
Scrolling Skips or Reverses Direction
- Test scrolling in another application.
- Turn off the mouse and check for visible debris around the wheel.
- Reconnect the mouse.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
Do not spray compressed air at close range or apply liquid to the scroll wheel area.
The Middle Button Does Not Work
- Check the middle-button assignment in MCHOSE HUB.
- Restore its default function.
- Test it in another application.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
6. Sensor Issues
The Buttons Work but the Cursor Does Not Move
- Check the sensor opening for dust or debris.
- Test another clean mouse pad.
- Avoid transparent glass and reflective surfaces.
- Reconnect the mouse.
- Test another connection mode or computer.
The Cursor Jumps, Freezes, or Shakes
- Clean the sensor area with a soft, dry cotton swab.
- Test another mouse pad.
- Restore recently changed sensor settings.
- Reduce very high DPI or polling-rate settings.
- Test the mouse in USB Wired Mode.
Tracking Stops When Repositioning the Mouse
- Check the LOD setting available for your sensor.
- Test another LOD option when supported.
- Make sure the mouse feet are installed evenly.
- Do not stack replacement feet over the original feet.
7. Charging Issues
The Mouse Does Not Charge
- Reconnect the USB-C cable.
- Try another computer USB port.
- Try another compatible USB-C cable.
- Allow a fully depleted battery to charge before testing again.
The Battery Drains Faster Than Expected
- Reduce the polling rate.
- Use a balanced performance mode.
- Configure an appropriate sleep timeout.
- Turn off the mouse during extended periods of non-use.
Battery life varies according to polling rate, performance mode, connection mode, sleep settings, firmware, and individual usage conditions.
The Mouse Makes a Sound While Charging
Disconnect the mouse immediately if charging produces a loud or persistent buzzing sound, unusual heat, odor, smoke, swelling, or intermittent power.
Do not continue charging the mouse until it has been inspected by MCHOSE Customer Support.
8. Contact Support
Contact MCHOSE Customer Support if:
- The mouse cannot be detected on multiple computers.
- A button or the scroll wheel remains abnormal under default settings.
- The sensor remains unavailable after cleaning and testing another surface.
- The USB-C port or receiver is visibly damaged.
- The mouse stops responding after a firmware update.
- Charging produces abnormal heat, odor, noise, swelling, or smoke.
