1. MCHOSE HUB Issues
MCHOSE HUB Cannot Detect the L7
- Connect the mouse in USB Wired Mode.
- Confirm that the cable supports both charging and data transmission.
- Try another computer USB port.
- Reconnect the mouse and restart MCHOSE HUB.
- Install the latest official MCHOSE HUB version.
- Restart the computer if the issue continues.
Note: BT Mode does not support active MCHOSE HUB communication.
DPI or Button Settings Are Not Applied
- Confirm that the correct device and profile are selected.
- Connect the mouse in USB Wired or supported 2.4GHz Wireless Mode.
- Apply and save the setting again.
- Reconnect the mouse.
- Restore the affected setting to its default value and retest.
A Macro Does Not Work
- Test the macro outside the game or application.
- Check the recorded actions and delay intervals.
- Restore the button assignment and reassign the macro.
- Check whether the target game or platform restricts macros.
2. Firmware Issues
Before Updating Firmware
- Use official MCHOSE software and firmware files.
- Use the connection method shown by MCHOSE HUB.
- Make sure the mouse is sufficiently charged.
- Do not disconnect the mouse or receiver during the update.
- Do not install firmware intended for another L7 model.
The Firmware Update Fails
- Wait for the update tool to report that the update has stopped.
- Restart MCHOSE HUB.
- Reconnect the mouse in USB Wired Mode.
- Try another computer USB port.
- Follow the update sequence shown by MCHOSE HUB.
Mouse and receiver firmware may be updated separately. Use compatible firmware versions intended for the exact mouse and receiver.
3. Connection and Pairing Issues
USB Device Not Recognized
- Reconnect the cable or receiver.
- Try another USB port.
- Use a cable that supports data transmission.
- Avoid unstable USB hubs during troubleshooting.
- Test the device on another computer.
The Mouse Charges but Does Not Work in USB Wired Mode
Some USB cables support charging only.
- Make sure the USB-C connector is fully inserted.
- Use the original cable when possible.
- Try another USB data cable.
- Try another computer USB port.
The 2.4GHz Receiver Cannot Connect
- Switch the mouse to 2.4GHz Wireless Mode.
- Make sure the mouse is sufficiently charged.
- Connect the receiver directly to the computer.
- Restart the mouse.
- Use the official L7 pairing procedure if pairing has been lost.
Do not use a receiver, pairing tool, or firmware package intended for another mouse model.
The 2.4GHz Connection Stutters or Disconnects
- Move the receiver closer to the mouse.
- Use the receiver extension adapter when included.
- Keep the receiver away from strong wireless interference.
- Recharge the mouse.
- Reduce the polling rate temporarily.
- Test another USB port.
The Mouse Does Not Work Through a USB Hub
Connect the receiver directly to the computer. If it works correctly, the issue may be related to the hub’s power delivery, USB implementation, or interference from other connected devices.
BT Pairing Fails
- Disconnect the USB cable.
- Remove the existing L7 pairing record from the device.
- Restart BT on the computer or device.
- Activate BT pairing mode on the mouse.
- Search for and pair the L7 again.
4. Button Issues
A Single Press Registers Multiple Clicks
- Restore the default button assignment.
- Restore the default debounce setting.
- Test the button in multiple applications.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
If the problem occurs under default settings on multiple computers, the switch may require inspection.
A Button Does Not Respond or Releases During a Long Press
- Restore the default button assignment.
- Reconnect the mouse.
- Test clicking and dragging in another application.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
If the held input continues to release unexpectedly, contact MCHOSE Customer Support.
Pressing a Main Button Also Activates the Middle Button
- Press the center of the left or right button and test again.
- Avoid applying excessive pressure near the inner edge.
- Restore the default button assignments.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
If normal button presses consistently activate the middle button, the mouse may require hardware inspection.
5. Scroll Wheel Issues
Scrolling Skips or Reverses Direction
- Test scrolling in another application.
- Turn off the mouse and inspect the wheel area for visible debris.
- Reconnect the mouse.
- Test the mouse on another computer.
Do not use a hair dryer, liquid cleaner, or high-pressure air directly on the scroll wheel.
The Scroll Wheel Has No Tactile Feedback
If the wheel turns freely without its usual tactile steps, or if scrolling is no longer detected, the encoder may require inspection or replacement.
6. Sensor Issues
The Buttons Work but the Cursor Does Not Move
- Check the sensor opening for dust or debris.
- Test another clean, non-reflective mouse pad.
- Avoid transparent glass and reflective surfaces.
- Reconnect the mouse.
- Test another connection mode or computer.
The Cursor Jumps, Freezes, or Shakes
- Clean the sensor area with a soft, dry cotton swab.
- Test another mouse pad.
- Restore recently changed sensor settings.
- Reduce very high DPI or polling-rate settings.
- Test the mouse in USB Wired Mode.
Tracking Changed After Replacing the Mouse Feet
- Remove the original feet before installing replacements.
- Make sure the replacement feet are seated evenly.
- Remove any protective film.
- Restore the LOD setting to its default value.
7. Charging Issues
The Mouse Does Not Charge
- Reconnect the USB-C cable.
- Try another computer USB port.
- Try another compatible USB-C cable.
- Allow a fully depleted battery to charge before testing again.
The Battery Drains Faster Than Expected
- Reduce the polling rate.
- Use a balanced sensor mode.
- Configure an appropriate sleep timeout.
- Turn off the mouse during extended periods of non-use.
- Check for a supported firmware update.
Battery life varies by L7 model, battery capacity, polling rate, performance mode, connection mode, firmware, and individual usage conditions.
